Because of this certification, IO Informatics works

Alliance
 Microsoft's BioIT
Alliance, formed at the BioIT World Life Sciences
Conference and Expo in 2006, is a group of
organizations working together to realize the potential
of personalized medicine. The Alliance unites the
pharmaceutical, biotech, hardware, and software
industries to explore new ways to share complex
biomedical data and collaborate among
multi-disciplinary teams to speed the pace of discovery
in the life sciences.
Life Science companies have unique technical
challenges in data integration, collaboration, and
knowledge management that cannot be solved by any
organization alone. The BioIT Alliance brings together
science and technology leaders to consider innovative
ways to address these challenges and use Microsoft
technology to reduce costs, streamline research, and
market their products more effectively.
As a member of Microsoft's BioIT Alliance, IO
Informatics is collaborating with other alliance
members on Proof of Concept applications that will
address critical bottlenecks in discovery of new
knowledge and next-generation application to our daily
lives.

Ariadne
 Ariadne's Pathway Studio
software combines systems biology data analysis with
the most comprehensive database of protein function,a
robust statistical approach of Gene Set Enrichment and
"Next Step" gene expression analysis, advancing
understanding of expression regulation by looking at
the activity of all the genes.
Pathway Studio powered by MedScan Technology meets
the need of harvesting (extracting and gathering)
information from the literature and meets an additional
need of embedding this information into the data
analysis environment.
IO Informatics Sentient Suite and its components
provide a seamless data exchange and interaction with
Pathway Studio, allowing users to combine their own
experimental data with Ariadne's database and text
mining.

Lee Laboratory at
Cornell University, NY
 IO Informatics has formed a strategic
collaboration with Prof. Kelvin Lee’s Biomedical Engineering
Lab, one of the top chemical and
biomedical engineering labs in the country.
In exchange for access to the software, Dr. Lee's
group has agreed to provide testing, feedback and
expertise concerning Sentient software applied to
acquisition and comparison of molecular-level
information about changes in gene expression in
bacteria cells, mammalian cell lines and in human
diseases.
