Efficiently create, in either a manual or completely automated fashion, Sentient’s proprietary "intelligent" data objects called IMOs (US Patent #6,988,109). IMOs can be created from instruments data, third party applications, or standard file formats. Minimal effort delivers immediate benefits including annotation, linking, monitoring, and a fully configurable security model.

The Data Manager provides persistent, non-destructive processing audit, rollback, and re-playable processing histories for each data object, including capture of third party processing activity.

The Form Query allow users to quickly and easily query both their Sentient managed data store and any number of other relational databases with no knowledge of SQL. Sentient data objects, IMOs, can be created from the results of relational database queries or the data can be exported to a variety of different formats for later retrieval and analysis in third party tools. When IMOs are returned, all related data plus analysis history and annotations are just a click away enabling data gathering and extraction for report completion in a matter of minutes.

The Expert Query is a fast, convenient research tool enabling single input database query preparation for 180+ pre-selected scientific web databases. Reports can be saved, linked to source data, and mined for value. An example of its unique effectiveness is a search for GABA (the amino acid) on Google which returns 665,000 hits. Sentient Expert Query with a pre-selected discipline goes directly to the data, and returns 8 relevant sets of information.

Together, Sentient Data manager allow users to search, detect, define, and activate relationships between previously unstructured and disconnected data.

Currently, these tools include integrated dendrograms and matrix clustering as well as visualization available through spreadsheet reports and exporting to Microsoft Excel.
